Horse Riding

The whole fandamily (with the exception of Uncle L and Papa) took a short trek to visit some friends. They have two Icelandic horses and were happy to have lots of willing riders. The kids LOVED it! After our rides, we christened a new fire pit by roasting hot dogs, brauts (sp?), and marshmallows for smores. It was a very special afternoon.

The Smilebox below was put together by my mom-in-law as a thank you to the couple who shared their horses with us. A few of the pictures are of their adorable grandson - in case someone wonders who the extra little boy in the hoodie is.

It was great fun to have cousins to play with and now it is back to playing with brothers. Not quite the same! We are already anxiously awaiting their return at Christmas time.
