My in-laws measured the snow in their backyard (they only live a few houses away) and it was 15 1/2 inches. That was a couple of hours ago and it hasn't stopped snowing.
My hubby and I walked down the hill to the grocery store at 11:00 a.m. On our way down there were 6 cars stuck on the side of the road. On our way up there were 10 cars stuck - including a tow truck trying to pull someone else out. Since then the city has closed the road. Now we are really stuck - the 3-4 routes we have to make it down to the freeway are all closed. This is almost getting humorous (as long as no one is getting hurt!)

You guys make sure to stay safe and warm. Ryan said the mayor of Gresham called in the National Guard and declared the city in a state of emergency. Looks like he might not be able to get out until Sunday (sooo sad)!

In answer to your question about my advent calendar. My mom-in-law got it in a calendar but if you search for magnetic nativity advent calendar on-line you will find it. There is one that talks that costs a lot more. Maybe you will find the time since you can't really go anywhere.
