SNOW! We have been lucky to have 2 straight days off from school due to the frigid temperatures, snow, and ice. The boys have all enjoyed sledding and snowboarding down the hills around us. It brings back memories from my childhood of sledding down the hill I lived on.While I am thrilled to play in the snow now, I wasn't quite so excited a few days ago. On Friday, we grown-ups ventured south to watch an NFL game with some friends. It was good weather (except for the pouring rain throughout the entire game and most of our tailgating experience) until we dropped off our friends yesterday afternoon and journeyed the last 3 hours by ourselves. This usual three hour drive ended up being 7+ hours of driving and an overnight stay with my sister. (Thanks for letting us crash at your place so we didn't crash somewhere along the road!) Thankfully we made it home safe and sound, the boys were in good hands, and we got another day off work!

Glad you made it back home okay...sounds like a bit of a fiasco to get there though.
It looks like your guys were having fun. We had (have) snow but I'm ready for it to be gone.
