This is where my watering can is sitting on the back patio, but now it is buried in the snow. There is now another 4 1/2 inches of snow (and still snowing) on top of the layer of ice which coated the previous snowfall. I think we're over 10 inches and maybe even up to a foot. I've never seen this much snow here before! Up in the mountains, sure, but not on the valley floor!Maybe some people will get coloring pages by my three little artists for Christmas. :(

I can't even believe how much snow you have! I would guess you will be having a white Christmas this year. We just have lots of rain today.
Cheryl - Lucky you! I never thought I would not care for snow.
It is amazing how something can sounds so great but to much is not so great. Artwork is a great present.
That is a LOT of snow. My brother, Ryan, is a student at PSU and lives in Gresham. He said yesterday there was so much snow that he couldn't get his car out of the parking lot. We are hoping he will be able to make it home in time for Christmas!

And I just talked to a friend in McMinnville & it's still snowing. Not sure if we're leaving in the morning or not. We're looking at alternate routes. We have 30+ inches but it's powdery & fluffy and the snowplows do a great job of keeping the roads cleared. We expecting another storm Wed. so we'd like to get out of here in the morning. Enjoyed all your pictures. Have fun!!!
