Ice

I decided to spare you from another Smilebox creation - at least for now. I am going a little stir crazy being cooped up without the proper vehicle or equipment to venture out. The Christmas shopping still isn't done and I'm not sure when this is going to melt away. Last night we had freezing rain on top of the snow. Above you see a piece of ice from our backyard. It is 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch thick. If you weigh less than 55 pounds you can actually walk around on the ice without breaking it. I tried to get some pictures of that, but the boys were having too much fun breaking through it. They really thought it was cool to break those pieces on the top of their head. I am just glad they got outside for a little bit to work off some energy. They are beginning to get on each other's nerves after 9 days at home together with basically no breaks. I guess I should head outside to see if I can release some of my energy too!

I love all the updates! I hope things clear up soon so you can get out of the house for awhile. I would imagine everyone is getting a bit of cabin fever.

I enjoy the weather report but am not jealous. I would be going crazy if I was trapped that long.
