On Saturday, June 13, E's enrichment fishing class from school met to go fishing together. Prior to then, they practiced casting on the playground, learned about fish, and explored a boat. He was so thrilled to catch his first fish! He wasn't so sure about holding this rainbow trout, but I was able to convince him to do it long enough to snap a few photos to post on the blog. He isn't sure if he wants to eat it so it is in the freezer with a couple K caught months ago. We'll see if mom and/or dad actually ever fry it up.
Summer has been pretty busy so there is more to share, but not more time to share it. I'll try to be a little more consistent with posting to get caught up!

Who-ho! What a brave boy. I am with him on feeling a little squirmy on the whole touching the fish. I bet it would make a great dinner though.
Way to go E. Nice he let you take his picture.
Nice Job E! I don't know if I would want to hold the fish either. Hope you are enjoying summer. It is suppose to be a time to slow down but it seems like all the days are still so full!
Congrats on the fish E! No way would anyone get me to hold the fish. I completely get what you mean by lots to share but no time to share. We have been keeping ourselves busy also.
