Tonight my husband went to pick up the uniforms for my middle son's baseball team. Each team's sponsor's name is printed right across the chest of every uniform. This year we are sponsored by "Gastroenterology Specialists of Oregon." While I am pleased they are supporting our baseball program, I think it is quite funny to have pasted across the chests of 11 6-7 year olds. Maybe our mascot could be the "Gastros"?

Ha! You would've thought they might have considered abbreviating it for the sake of the specialists and the kids. That is too funny, and is a story you can muse over for quite a while!
That is too funny. I don't think I would have wanted them to abbreviate too much though...then it would just say Gas Specialists of OR. I am sure there will be lots of jokes throughout the season.
That is funny. You would think they someone would have come up with a different name or abbreviation. Although like Cheryl said you wouldn't want Gas Specialists. I'm sure that many jokes will be created and inspired due to their shirts.
That is a funny and I'm sure it is interesting to hear the boys pronounce their sponsor.
I like "Gas Specialists" -- that age group would get a kick out of advertising that they themselves are specialists in that department!
It might have been better on the butt of the pants! :)
