One of the exciting things available to fourth and fifth grades at the boys' school is the strings program. Students have the choice of a violin, viola, cello, or bass. This picture is of the entire bass section. I have to admit I am really happy with the choice that was made in our house. Squeaking isn't an issue. It is completely bearable to be in the house when he practices. After about a month of having "lessons" 2 nights a week, we enjoy little serenades every once in a while. And perhaps appropriate for this "haunted" time of year, his best piece is "Jaws."

How great that they have a program like that. Zebe looks great and I love the choice of instrument. I can't wait to hear him play.

Way cool! It makes Zebe look so small when he is sitting next to it. You should put a video of him playing it for us..that would be fun!
