On Saturday night my sister and I took my dad out to dinner for his 6oth birthday. The three of us don't often hang out as much as we did during all those years of him coaching our soccer, basketball, and/or softball teams so it was a lot of fun. After dinner he showed us some pictures of him as a young boy that my grandma had dug out for his real birthday earlier in the week. We thought a few of them had to be someone else, but then we noticed his own special ear bump and figured out that grandma did know what she was talking about. We really enjoyed the time together and hope to do it again - before the next 60 years go by. Happy Birthday Dad! We love you!
